Paul J. Gelinas Junior High and Arrowhead Elementary in Setauket, New York, is where Rogers conducted her student teaching in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Masters of Arts in Education, spring, 2023. She instructed lessons to K-9th graders based on their personal interests which ranged from technical one-point perspective drawing—where she created an interactive group puzzle to further assess student understanding— to ceramic bowls and sculpture, mono printing, and various modes of collage.
